Firefighters save adorable one-week-old puppy who was stuck under porch deck — thank you

At times, our beloved pets find themselves in unforeseen and challenging situations, requiring assistance to regain their freedom. Fortunately, we can always rely on the unwavering support of firefighters to aid animals in distress.
In a recent incident, a courageous fire crew embarked on a rescue mission to save a precious one-week-old puppy trapped beneath a deck. The dedicated team swiftly responded to the call for help, demonstrating their commitment to ensuring the well-being of all creatures, no matter how small.

The Mount Pleasant Fire Department, in Texas, received a call about a lost puppy. Arriving on the scene, the firefighters realized that the newborn pup had gotten stuck under a house deck.
According to a Facebook post, the firefighters “put their trench rescue skills to work” to save the little dog.
Photos show the crew getting dirty, digging underneath the porch deck and crawling in to get the pup to safety.

Thankfully, the mission was a success and they reunited the dog with its mom.
“Great job A-shift, station 1!” the department wrote, thanking the fire team.
The story warmed people’s hearts, and dozens of comments on the post thank the firefighters for their hard work: “Awesome job – thanks so much for saving this fur baby!” one comment reads.
