Tender & Crisp No-Bake 2-Ingredient Crunchy Bars

If you have a sweet tooth, these delectable crunchy bars by Jasvini Foods are sure to win you over. With just two ingredients and no baking required, this recipe is a breeze. Not only that, it's gluten-free and flour-free, making it accessible to a wider range of diets. The best part? You can whip up these delightful treats in a mere 10 minutes. How convenient is that? Pair them with a cup of coffee or tea for the perfect snack.

Here's what you'll need:

1 cup of sesame seeds
1/2 cup of maple syrup (or you can use date syrup)
Oil (optional, for greasing the baking pan)
Note: Honey is not recommended as a substitute for maple syrup in this recipe, as it loses its benefits when cooked and can also become harmful when heated.

Instructions:

Step 1:
Prepare your baking tray by brushing it with oil on all sides. Place a baking sheet on top, ensuring the edges are lined as well. This will make it easier to remove the bars later. Set it aside.

Step 2:
Heat a pan and add one cup of sesame seeds. Toast them over low heat for a few minutes until they turn a light brown color. Stir constantly to prevent burning.

Step 3:

Add one-half cup of maple syrup to the sesame seeds. It will instantly bubble once you pour it. Mix and let it cook for about five minutes. Continuously mix it so it will not burn. It will become thick. If it doesn’t spread more throughout the pan.

Step 4:

Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Spread it evenly with a silicone spatula. Use a glass with a flat bottom to press it down. Set it aside and let it cool down for about two to three minutes.

Step 5:

Once cooled, remove it from the pan by pulling out the parchment paper, then place it on a flat surface or chopping board. Slice it into bars. Remove from the parchment paper and serve. Enjoy!
