Elderly Woman Sees 4 Boys Sneak Into Her Yard - She Grabs One And Then Starts Crying Heavily
Many elderly people are self sufficient, they do for themselves, live to help themselves and enjoy living as independent as they can. There are times however that they need a helping hand.
A garden can become a major task if you have a large household. That was the exactly issue for 75-year-old Gerry Suttle.
She lives in Riesel, Texas, where there is a ban from letting grass get more than 18 inches (45 cm) tall.
After a while, police noticed this and issued her with a court date, but unfortunately, Gerry never saw this, so they made a warrant for her arrest.
News of this quickly spread around town and when four young boys heard about this, they knew what they had to do.
They each brought a lawnmower and gardening tools to her house, sneaked inside and began to cut the grass and weeds. When other local residents saw what was happening they all joined in, and within a few hours, the work was complete.
After this heroic deed, Gerry said:”I am very seldom without words. This is one time. You might want to mark it down in history that I didn’t have something to say,”
