Months into the pandemic, months after people have been informed to wear a mask and maintain social distancing, there are still many who aren't alarmed by what the pandemic can do. In a painful video, actress Sharon Stone told people to do what so many experts have been saying, which is to wear a mask while outdoors, and she called out people sitting at the top for the way things are being handled today.

In the video, Stone revealed that she lost her grandmother and her godmother to the virus. And now, her sister and her sister's husband have both tested positive.

"One of you Non-Mask wearers did this," Stone said.

On Instagram, Stone shared a picture of her sister, Kelly's hospital room. "My sister Kelly, who already has lupus, now has COVID-19," Stone wrote. "This is her hospital room. One of you Non-Mask wearers did this. She does not have an immune system. The only place she went was the pharmacy. There is no testing in her county unless you are symptomatic, & then it’s 5 day wait for results. Can YOU FACE THIS ROOM ALONE? Wear a mask! For yourself and others. Please."

The next day, she uploaded a video where she told people to "vote to live" in the upcoming elections. "I want to talk to you about compassion and integrity vs. politics and greed. As many of you know I posted about my sister being in the hospital In a COVID room and that she has Lupus and she is fighting for her life. I didn't let you know her husband, Bruce is also in a COVID room in the same ward fighting for his life. And that they stayed at home for as long as they could. I want to tell you a little bit about why. In Montana, where they live, you can't get tested unless you're symptomatic and then you don't get your test results for 5 days."

Stone explained that after a person is tested positive, those who came in contact with them would not be tested unless they have symptoms. This meant that people like the actress's mother, who had two heart attacks, 5 stents, and a pacemaker in the last five months would not be tested unless symptoms appear, "even though she could've been their asymptomatic contact that gave them COVID," Stone said.

Even Stone's sister posted a video of herself where she spoke about how she is struggling to breathe and that nobody would ever want to feel the way she was feeling then.

In the emotional video that Stone shared, she mentioned how people were walking around saying it is their right not to wear a mask while nurses in hospitals are stressed, exhausted, and strained by the sheer number of patients. The actress highlighted that even frontline workers, who are risking their lives, are not getting tested.

"When they say there are tests for everyone, they're lying," Stone said, as quoted by Today. "When they say there are tests for the nurses in the hospitals, they're lying. People are dying and fighting for their lives because there's nothing but lies."

With her sister and brother-in-law fighting for her life, she mentioned that whoever she called for help have only hung up on her. The Basic Instinct star added that there is a way to change how these situations are dealt with and how testing can increase. And that is by voting.

"The only thing that's gonna change this is if you vote and if you vote for Biden and if you vote for Kamala Harris," Stone said as she ended her message. "And the reason that's going to happen is because with women in power we will fight for our families. We will fight for people to live and we will fight for people to get tested because the only countries that are doing well with COVID are the ones that have women in leadership. Please vote and please, whatever you do, don't vote for a killer."
