There are two types of strokes, ischemic and hemorrhagic. The first one happens in people who had bad blood flow in their tight brain canals. The latter is a rarer and occurs from aneurysm vessels. Each stroke comes unexpectedly, although it manifests signs before it happens. Fortunately, people can prevent it and save their lives.

Numb face and limbs on one side

Depression
FAST – an acronym used to describe the stroke steps
Face- is your face dropped or saggy?
Arms- lift both of your arms and check if one of them drops
Speech- check whether your speech is slurry
Time- ask for HELP!
All of these signs occur fast and suddenly. Therefore, if you notice one of them, you should ask for help as soon as possible. Don’t drive to the hospital on your own. Instead, get a medical help at home. Sometimes, the sings might disappear, but you still are in need of some help. It might reoccur in a form of TIA episode (transient ischemic assault) and might cause even more severe stroke.
A lot of people don’t differ between stroke and a migraine. However, migraine occurs in span and stroke is sudden. Migraine shows zigzag flashes, lights, and colors. TIA begins with lack of vision, hearing, and immobility. Strokes usually occur at the older population and at people who smoke, have high blood pressure, suffer from diabetes or have blood and heart problems. Stroke might be genetic too. To prevent them, change your lifestyle habits. Quit alcohol and smoking. Instead, start doing some workouts and eat more veggies and fruits.
