Mega Star Sings Their Version Of "Silent Night" Inside Huge Church - I'm Covered In Chills...

In a stunningly beautiful cover of "Silent Night," the walls of this church were graced with the sounds of the Piano Guys, a beautiful children's choir, as well as the famous Placido Domingo.
Even though "Silent Night" was composed in 1818 in a small town in Austria, and since has been recorded by a large number of stars from every music genre, there's something truly special about this collaborative version with such impressive artists.
Steven Sharp Nelson, one-fourth of The Piano Guys, told Desert News that life in the group all has been more than he could ever hope. But through good times and bad, he and the bandmates turn to God. He said that he hopes His love reached fans through their music:
"Prayer is a big part of what we do – we pray our way into the right ideas and ask for the right approach... (We) pray that inside the music will be the right healing that will make someone's burden a little lighter.
We hand that over to a divine hand...
We have used music personally as a healing balm, and so that's another reason why it motivates us to do what we are doing. Music is a salve that will help (people) get from point A to point B.
I hope that as people listen to our music, and as they struggle with things that seem to be out of place in their lives or seem to be unwanted, that they can take strength in knowing that one day the purpose for which they struggle will become clear."
As for creating the music itself, Nelson told Desert News that they take themselves out of the songs and try to focus on the group as a whole. They want to create music that's unlike anything we've ever heard:
"It's not about us, it's about the music... We're only as limitless as we think and feel we are... Each of these songs, in (their) own way, represents that concept and that idea. We like to transcend traditional genres. What we have discovered is that all the music we listen to today is descendant of classical music. When you put the two together it's like a family reunion.
We've had over a dozen artists come out on Facebook or contact us and say, 'We love what you've done with this!' (While) that's not our purpose, it's a nice bonus."
In this beautiful performance, The Piano Guys are joined by Placido Domingo. He has recorded over 100 complete operas and performed in the most prestigious opera houses in the world. He has also won over 14 Grammy Awards with several of his records hitting gold and multi-platinum.
Between his talent, and the musical talents of the Piano guys and the sweet voices of the children's choir, this rendition of "Silent Night" is absolutely beautiful.
