A twisted woman in Pennsylvania has been arrested after she allegedly burned a baby and hit him at least 37 times.
According to WHP, Jessica Lynn Samick was investigated earlier this month after a baby in her care came home with bruises and burns.
The mother told police that the baby had been with Samick for several days, according to court documents.
An affidavit shows that the mother told investigators that Samick had been involved in her son’s life since birth, and because the woman had watched the baby before, the mom didn’t think much of letting her watch him.
According to court documents, Samick had been on a trip with the child on March 5 or 6 until March 15, when the mother saw a picture that “seemed a little off” on Facebook.
The mom told investigators that in the picture, Samick had put a heart-shaped stick over the baby’s ear "as if to hide something" before she took the photo.

Once the child was back home, the mom noticed bruises all over his body, as well as cigarette burn marks under his armpits.
Both police officers and hospital officials later documented the disturbing injuries after the mother rushed the baby to the hospital.
Then, on April 9, a police officer received a video from an anonymous source that allegedly showed Samick beating the child.
The woman who sent in the video later told police that she had seen Samick hit, bite, and scratch the child. She also accused Samick of locking the little boy in a closet.
Police say the woman recorded the video of Samick to send to investigators later.
"I'm about to beat the living [expletive] [expletive] out of you," Samick could reportedly be heard screaming at the baby in the video before smacking the child in the face and making his mouth bleed.
"You got your [expletive] beat so many times today,” Samick is also heard yelling at the child in the video before hitting him about 37 times.
According to WHP, Samick has now been charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of simple assault for attacking the child.
After this story was shared on Facebook, several commenters questioned why the child’s mother would allow Samick to take the baby on a trip.
“My question is why did the mother let this lady take her baby on a trip for multiple days? Sorry but idc if that person was in the babies life since birth i still wouldn't trust anyone!” one woman commented.
“First of all as a mother I would never ever let someone take my baby away for a few days. Second of all what the heck is "simple assault"? Seriously! It is more than a simple assault. What is wrong with people. Hope she is locked up for good. Put her in solitary confinement forever,” another added.
