Unleash Your Inner Artist with This Magical DIY Pressed Flower Lanterns Tutorial
By Mike-Ross

I've dabbled in a few upcycled mason jar projects, but this DIY pressed flower lantern takes the cake as my absolute favorite! It exudes such beauty and magic, making it the perfect decor choice, especially if you're into fairy aesthetics. But hey, even if that's not your vibe, it still brings a whimsical and serene atmosphere to any space in your home. Plus, it doubles as a heartfelt, handmade gift for a loved one.
The best part? It's both pretty and budget-friendly since most of the materials are likely already lying around your house. This project is super simple and quick to whip up - you'll have it done in minutes! The only waiting game is for the glue to dry, but other than that, it's a breeze of a handmade craft. Step 1
Apply some Mod Podge on the small area of the jar about the same size as the flower you’re going to use, then place the flower on it, and press it down nicely.
Step 2
Apply more Mod Podge over it until covered, then continue to add more flowers beside it or on the empty surfaces, and let them dry completely.
Step 3
Tie a jute twine around the neck of the jar, then add more embellishments if desired, place the candle inside the jar, and light it up.
