By Mike-Ross

Got a holiday spread filled with mouthwatering dishes and desserts? Well, you need an equally awesome drink to wow your guests. Check out this grapefruit and cranberry drink recipe from Views on the road – it's a breeze to whip up and bursting with flavors. Trust me, it's the holiday season's MVP drink. With all the savory and salty goodness on the table, a fruity drink is just what you need to keep things balanced.
I gave this a shot last Christmas, and it was a total crowd-pleaser. In fact, it was such a hit that I had to whip up two more batches to keep the party going all night long. Refreshing and kid-friendly (yup, no alcohol here!), it's perfect for everyone. But if you're feeling a bit fancy and want an adult version, toss in some liquor – tequila is a solid choice. Make sure to add this to your New Year's lineup.

Step 3:
Add the tajin or sugar onto a flat dish. It should be 1/4 inch high and wider than the rim of your glass.
Step 4:
Slice a wedge of your preferred citrus fruit and rub it along the outer edges of the glass. If you are going to use syrup, pour it into another dish and dip the entire rim of the glass into it.
Step 5:
Place your glass upside-down into the sugar or Takin then twist the glass until the entire rim is coated. You can also hold it at a 45-degree angle and slowly rotate it if you don’t want sugar inside of the glass.
Step 6:
Pour the drink into your glass and enjoy!
