Spring is coming so that mean the time to garden is coming soon as well! Know what that means? It's time to warm up your green thumbs and get your garden started! As you are enjoying plating in your garden beds, you may want to think about doing something out of the ordinary, add a some variety and levels to your garden this spring. The best way to execute this is via this 3-tier herb garden. I know it may seem challenging, by this is actually a very simple DIY that you can make in a large terra cotta pot. When selecting plants to make your tiered herb garden, make sure you get some cheap throwaway plants. You also want to make sure that you get plants that are four different heights – this will created that tiered look.
After you fill your pot with soil, make sure you put the tallest plant in the back. Next, plant the medium height plants. On the sides of the pot, include some very low plants that will droop over the sides to create the right look. Finish the pot up by putting the second lowest plants in the front. Add a few rocks on top to pull the look of your DIY herb garden together!
