Cop Feels God Leading Him To Remote Area, Starts Running As Soon As He Spots The Boy

Whether you call them coincidences or divine intervention, most of us have experienced a moment bigger than ourselves. Maybe it was a message from beyond, or simply being in the right place at the right time, but these moments are chilling in a way that is hard to explain.
An officer from Topeka, Kansas recently had a moment like this, and it was all caught on his body-cam. Pulled from his traditional route by a force bigger than himself, he landed in the right place at precisely the right time.
Here's what happened...
Recently, Officer Aaron Bulmer of Topeka Police Department was on duty while patrolling an area near the Central Park Community Center in Topeka, Kansas. He was called to investigate a robbery, but instead saw something else - a little boy wandering alone. He decided to follow the child instead and watched as he fell directly into a pond.
I believe that He directed me away from the call I was on to make sure that I found that child. That’s really been hitting me today — that God put me in that situation.
Officer Aaron, who had his body-cam on at the time, instantly jumped into action and did what he was trained to do. He started running towards the drowning boy while calling 911 for back-up.

In the gut wrenching moment which was being filmed as it happened by the officer's body-cam, we see a rather peaceful morning with no one around except Officer Aaron. As he runs towards the pond ahead, we then see the bobbing head of a little boy.
We hear the splash as the officer jumps into the water, and seconds later see him grabbing the boy and pulling him to safety.

As it turns out, the 4-year-old is an autistic boy who had managed to get away from his parents who were actively looking for him in a different part of the park. For Officer Aaron, it truly was a miracle that he was present at the time and believes God had something to do with it:
"I believe that God put me into that situation. He allowed me to be in the right place at the right time."
A statement released by the Topeka Police Department, praises Officer Aaron for his bravery and instincts in saving the boy and notes for all those who might not be aware that:
"Many times, children with autism are drawn to water, as was the displayed in this case."
You can watch the chilling video here which was eventually released to the public!
Having watched the video now, it is not hard to think about the exact consequence of what would have happened had Officer Aaron not been there at that time! With no one around, the boy would have surely been unable to get himself out of the pond and would have eventually drowned.
Officer Aaron Bulmer might call his act of bravery just another day on the job, but for the parents of this young boy, he truly is a god send who saved their lives from taking a tragic turn!
