Boy Shows Up To School With 'Spots' All Over His Shoulder. Then They Find Out What His Dad Has At Home

A father in Arizona is in big trouble after he allegedly used a Taser stun gun on his son for failing to do his homework on time.
According to ABC 15, school staff informed authorities of a possible child abuse case after discovering "numerous scattered spot-like abrasions" on an 11-year-old boy’s right shoulder.
While speaking with police, the boy explained that his father, 49-year-old Darryl Ingram, often uses a Taser on him when he doesn’t finish his homework.
Over the past year, the boy revealed that his father had used the Taser on his shoulder, arms, and legs.
He was told by Ingram that, "it was like a toy and wasn't charged all the way."
According to ABC 15, the boy also told police that his father would occasionally strike him with a metal cane.
When asked whether he would like to be “whooped” 40 times or struck with the Taser, the boy reportedly chose the Taser.
During Ingram’s arrest, he reportedly told police that he did not own a Taser or a stun gun, instead insisting that he simply used an app on his phone to shock his son.

Family members later confirmed to investigators that Ingram did indeed own a Taser.
According to Ingram, the Taser, which has since been located by police, was only used as a scare tactic against his son.
"I was telling him this is a toy compared to what police use," Ingram told ABC 15. "If your behavior and the way you're doing things continues on, somewhere down the line, this is something that is going to be used on you. You have to be obedient."
Later, Ingram allegedly told police that he did use the Taser once on his son, but only as part of a demonstration so he wouldn’t try to use it himself.
"I just kind of showed him against myself," Ingram said. "It basically is like a pinch. It doesn't deliver much voltage or anything. It does kinda like pinch the skin."
Ingram said that in the past, the school also called DCS because he spanked his son.
The boy has now reportedly been taken out of his father’s care and is currently living with his mother in another state.
According to ABC 15, Ingram, who has reportedly been working as a Medical Assistant at the VA, has been charged with child abuse.
It is unclear at this time if he will face any more charges.
