Boy Visits with Santa, What Santa Whispers Leaves Him in Tears (Video)

As WLOS News reports, the Mayse family had planned a perfect December day, complete with carriage rides, ice skating, and a visit to Saint Nick. Unfortunately, the Santa Claus they met in Forest City, North Carolina wasn't very jolly. As Ashley Mayse, Anthony's mother, tells WLOS:
“He acted like he didn't want to be there to do the job.”

Anthony told Santa what he wanted for Christmas (an iPod Touch and a drone). But instead of wishing him a hearty “Merry Christmas,” Santa concluded the visit by insulting Anthony's weight. Anthony tells WLOS:

“When he got done, he said, 'Lay off the hamburgers and french fries.' And that really just disrespected me, and I felt awful.”

With that one comment, Anthony's joy and faith in Santa were crushed. Ashley says her son cried most of the day and later tore up his photo with Saint Nick.
