Dad Makes Mistake Dressing Son, Teacher Notices Naughty Print He Didn’t See

If you’ve ever gotten a child ready for school, you can relate to how hectic a morning can be. Unfortunately for one father, he made quite the mistake when he sent his child off to school in what he thought was a cute ‘ugly’ Christmas sweater. Instead, when he went to pick up his son, he was shocked and embarrassed, as the teacher pointed out the naughty print his son had been wearing that the father didn’t initially see.
With the Christmas season upon us, not only are we bombarded with gift giving and holiday cheer, but everyone in the family wants to dress for the occasion. However, one father made a fashion faux pas when he sent his son to school in a Christmas sweater that had a secret hidden in plain sight. Unfortunately, the dad missed it until it was too late, but lucky for us, the Reddit user AngryHamzter posted a picture for all to see of his son, boasting his sweater he wore to school.
“Accidentally sent my son to school wearing his newly bought sweater,” the dad captioned the funny photo. “Didn’t realize what Santa was doing until his kindergarten teacher pointed it out to me when I picked him up.”
The teacher kindly informed the dad that his son had worn a shirt with Santa peeing the popular holiday saying, “Merry Christmas.” The father had no idea that the shirt pictured a “naughty” Santa.
Apparently, his wife had picked up the sweater at the mall and had also overlooked the whizzing Saint Nick. Thankfully, the teacher was understanding of the father’s mistake and merely “laughed about the situation.” She also informed the father that another student had shown up to school in the same sweater, whose parents were also unaware of the design on their child’s shirt.
Personally, I think the shirt is harmless. It’s a young boy’s sweater that truly captures the mischievous nature of boys themselves. Luckily, the teacher seemed to agree and wasn’t easily offended, as we all too often see when it comes to kids’ clothes and public schools these days. However, it does provide a good reminder to look closely at what you’re buying, just in case such humor isn’t something you’d want your kids to wear.
