Chemicals Found In Colgate Toothpaste Have Been Linked To Cancer!

This substance is called Triclosan and it is commonly used in laundry detergents, antiseptics, hand sanitizers, and deodorants. According to a study published in the magazine Chemical Research in Toxicology, high amounts of triclosan may cause cancer.
 
This dangerous substance penetrates through the skin and it enters the blood, which in turn leads to hormonal imbalance.

Nevertheless, Colgate- Palmolive still claims that their products are completely safe to use.  As reported by Bloomberg, “Total” is safe, Colgate says, citing the rigorous Food and Drug Administration process that led to the toothpaste’s 1997 approval as an over-the-counter drug.

At this point, Canada is the only country that put a ban on Triclosan.
