“Trooper” puppy is searching for a forever home after getting kicked by horse, breaking legs
By Mike-Ross

A puppy in Ohio faced a challenging start to life after being kicked by a horse, resulting in the breakage of both her front legs. Despite this adversity, the shelter caring for her is optimistic about finding a loving home for this resilient canine. On December 1, From Heaven to Earth Rescue, a nonprofit shelter located in New Philadelphia, Ohio, took to Facebook to share the story of Zoey, a Toy Fox Terrier/Jack Russell mix puppy.
The post highlighted Zoey's unfortunate encounter with a horse, causing fractures in both her front legs. However, the shelter emphasized Zoey's courageous spirit, noting her determination to walk with the leg splints provided by veterinarians.

In a follow-up video, the shelter said that Zoey, now eight weeks old, was going to get another check-up on December 14 to see if she was going to “be able to go home soon.”
The shelter told FOX TV stations that they were searching for an adopter for Zoey. It isn’t clear if a home has been found yet, but hopefully she will soon have a new family after she is fully healed.
From Heaven to Earth Rescue is also asking for donations to help Zoey’s recovery.
Oh, this sweet pup! We're relieved to see Zoey's resilience, and we're sending all our best wishes for a speedy recovery and a fantastic forever home! Help us spread the word about this adorable puppy by sharing her story!
