Easy Stir-Fry Broccoli And Carrot With Chicken (2023)

Ingredients:

0.7 lb of broccoli (cut into florets)
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 carrot (thinly sliced)
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
0.55 lb of chicken breast (thinly sliced)
2 to 3 tablespoons of oil
1 tablespoon of light soy sauce
2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
1/2 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of dark soy sauce
Cornstarch slurry

Instructions:

Step 1:

Rinse the broccoli florets then place them in a bowl. Add some salt and let it soak for about 1 to 2 minutes. Once done, wash the broccoli 2 to 3 times. Next, cut them into bite-size pieces.

Step 2:

Add the thinly sliced chicken to a bowl, then season with salt and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 3:

Heat 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add the chicken and stir fry for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 4:

Add the minced garlic and saute for a few seconds. Next, add the chopped carrots and broccoli. Mix well and cook for a few seconds.

Step 5:

Pour 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce into the chicken and vegetables, then add 1/2 cup of water. Give it a mix. Next, add 1/2 teaspoon of dark soy sauce and mix again. Let it come to a boil.

Step 6:

Once boiling, add the cornstarch slurry and mix until the sauce becomes a little bit thick. Once done, turn off the stove.

Serve on a plate and enjoy it with rice.
