Man discovers rare antique in his grandfather's tool box but had no clue what it was until now

Hidden treasures can be found in unexpected places if you take the time to look for them. Recently, one man discovered something extraordinary while going through his grandfather's old tackle box - a palm pistol from 1895.
Back in the 1890s, the Chicago Arms Company produced around 13,000 palm pistols, and this man had stumbled upon one that had been passed down through his family. However, neither his grandfather nor he knew what it was at first. His grandfather had believed it to be a tool and had kept it in his toolbox, unaware of its true value as a firearm.
Fortunately, the man took the palm pistol to be appraised by Gary Piattoni from Antiques Roadshow, who valued it at a whopping $2,000. This incredible find was a testament to the fact that hidden gems can be found in even the most unlikely of places, waiting to be discovered by those with a keen eye for valuable antiques.
