Aww! Dog goes across the street to hug his best friend over the fence

Witnessing the remarkable social skills of dogs in forging friendships is truly awe-inspiring. Many pet owners have experienced the incredible bond that can develop between their furry companions and the dog next door.
Such is the case for two compassionate dogs, who consistently offer unwavering support to one another, separated only by a fence.
Residing across the street from each other in Thailand, Messy and Audi have become inseparable. Audi often finds himself alone at home when his owners are away, and his loneliness can sometimes be overwhelming. However, Messy's owner, Oranit Kittragul, recognizes the uplifting effect her dog has on Audi.
"When he feels lonely and cries, I always ask my dog to see and talk to him," Oranit shared with The Dodo. "My dog simply looks from the fence, and sometimes he barks at Audi. I'm not sure what they communicate, but it soothes Audi, and he stops crying."
Over time, a profound bond blossomed between the two dogs, with Messy consistently brightening Audi's spirits during their encounters. Yet, one particular meeting would become an extraordinary moment to cherish.
One fateful day, Audi's gate was inadvertently left unlocked, granting him the freedom to venture out. Without hesitation, he darted straight towards Messy, where the dear friends embraced in an affectionate hug:

“He ran to my dog and they hugged each other,” Oranit said.
Oranit captured the precious moment on camera. It showed her just how deeply these two dogs cared about each other—that they had formed a real bond over their visits and just wanted to be together.
Oranit shared the photos on social media, where they quickly went viral. Everyone loved this sweet moment between these dogs.
“My purpose is just to share a nice photo and story,” she told Today.
She said that the two dogs still hadn’t gotten to play together since they became famous, but she continued to bring her dog over to Audi’s house.
What a beautiful friendship! We’re glad these dogs have each other to turn to when they’re feeling down or alone.
