Tragic incident at trampoline park leaves 10-year-old boy dead after fight with another child.
A fun-filled day turned into a nightmare for Anthony Duran, a 10-year-old boy who lost consciousness during a physical altercation with another child at Rockin’ Jump Trampoline Park in Merced, California. The incident took place on April 13, while Duran was playing basketball with friends. According to reports, Duran collapsed during the fight and bystanders immediately administered CPR before paramedics arrived.

Despite efforts to save him, the young boy was rushed to a local hospital and passed away from his injuries four days later. The Merced Police Department has launched an investigation and confirmed that they have interviewed 35 witnesses, including staff, parents, and children who were present at the time of the incident. The authorities are also reviewing surveillance footage to determine what happened.
As the Merced County Coroner's Office conducts an autopsy to determine the cause of Duran's death, his family and friends are mourning the tragic loss of a young life that was taken too soon.

The other child involved in the altercation has also been identified and police have been in contact with their parents.
The Merced County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case with police to determine if any charges will be filed.
