Hero Father rescues teen daughter from four armed kidnappers, uncovers abduction plan

Terry Brackney was waiting for his daughter, Amber, to return home from her job as a waitress in Baker, Flordia. Like any responsible daughter, the 17-year-old contacted her father when she left work and started her trip home.
Terry looked outside and noticed several strangely placed barrels and trash cans in the middle of the road prevented her from pulling up to their house. He told Amber the barrels weren’t there earlier and she should just drive around them as she pulled into the driveway.
Later that night, after Amber had gone to bed, Terry heard his dogs howling wildly at the garage. He grabbed his firearm and went outside to look. He found two teenage boys trying to break into the garage. Terry was determined to protect his family and his property from harm.

Police later uncovered a horrific plot against Amber. “It’s like something that would happen in a scary movie,” Amber told ABC News. She also said that she sees her father as a hero for saving her life.
