Police Officer takes almost lifeless child from mom, realizes he must drive away to save their life

Jeremie Nix, a deputy in Marion County, Florida, had just finished his shift and was driving home when a woman named Nechole Cromwell flagged him down at an intersection.
The deputy was recording with his dash cam when a panicked Nechole jumped out of the passenger seat of her vehicle with her three-month-old baby Kingston.
The infant was completely unresponsive. “You can tell he’s completely lifeless,” the deputy told WKMG-TV. “She just hands him to me and the first words out of her mouth were, ‘Don’t let my baby die.'”
Jeremie tried everything he could to revive the small child, but nothing appeared to work. He requested an emergency ambulance, although he was aware that there was not much time left. He took action since he realized he didn’t have enough time to wait for the ambulance to arrive.
Out of options and time, he made a split-second decision to take the child from their terrified mother and rush for aid, sirens blazing.
