Lamps can be found at any local thrift store, or at a garage sale, but they are normally found in colors that you may not like or the shades can be a bit old looking. The other day, I came across a pair of lamps last weekend at my neighbor’s yard sale and the shape of the shade and the lamp itself were wonderful and perfect to flank each side of my couch, but the color was terrible. So I looked online and saw this amazing DIY scrap fabric lamp makeover by Mark Montano, on YouTube, and I knew this would be a perfect idea to cover up the lamp’s blemishes.
