Motown’s first group had a mega hit in the 60s, and it’s still amazing today!
“Shop Around” came out at the end of 1960 and was pretty much the song of the year for 1961. It was written by Smokey Robinson and Berry Gordy, then performed by Robinson with The Miracles.
It’s a wonderful song and they went on to have 26 songs that made their way to the Top 40 charts.
