Judge asks her to take off her hat, once she does, the crowd goes crazy

Danielle “Danie” Geimer isn’t very comfortable in crowds. The shy 15-year-old would rather spend time reading a good book in her bedroom while her friends are shopping at the mall. “I read about [topics] like neuroscience,” she says with a smile.
In addition to reading, Danie loves to sing but her shy demeanor can make life in the spotlight a little difficult. She tries to hide under a floppy hat and thick glasses, but the judges want to see her. After wowing the crowd with a soulful rendition of “House of the Rising Sun,” Danie easily gets the votes she needs from Kelly Rowland, Paulina Rubio, and Demi Lovato.
Before she can leave the stage Kelly yells “Miss thing, you are it!” Danie gives a shy smile then Demi asks her to stop hiding.
Without any hesitation Danie pulls off her hat and the crowd goes wild. “You are gorgeous!” Demi yells.
