You already know well that it’s possible to make tons of household cleaners yourself to scrub and shine any number of things: laundry, floors, showers, even granite countertops.
But for our toilets and all their germs, we need fancy, advanced, super-technical store-bought cleaners, right? Wrong! Of course, you can make your own toilet bowl cleaner, and who better to show us how than Clean My Space?
Watch and learn how she makes her own from soap, hydrogen peroxide, tea tree oil, baking soda, and water.
YOU’LL NEED
Hydrogen peroxide
Tea tree oil
Baking soda
Castile soap
Water Pumice stone (optional)
HOW TO
Step 1: Add 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1/2 cup of water, 1/4 cup of Castile soap, 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide, and 15 drops of tea tree oil to a spray bottle.
Step 2: Shake well and apply it to the inner ring of your toilet bowl. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3: Scrub your toilet bowl like normal and flush all that yucky scum away.
Step 4: If you have really tough toilet bowl rings, use a pumice stone to scrub them off.
