Toddler discovers bear cubs in pool, internet falls out in laughter with his reaction

Everyone has thrown a party once or twice in their life. And we all know how this goes: friends come, family comes, friends of friends show up as well. Sometimes unexpected guests may appear, now image if six unexpected guests showed up and they were not human beings? Strange right? Continue reading.
Unexpected guests
This was the case for the Basso family. They reside in Rockaway Township, New Jersey. Like most families, they have a swimming pool in their backyard, with chlorine and a filtration system. Of course, it can be challenging to maintain but it comes with many awesome benefits, one of which is keeping everyone cool on a hot summer day.
However, on this day, it wasn't the human family that wanted to catch a dip in the pool, it was a family of bears!
A mama bear and her five young cubs approached the pool. One little bear even opted to go over to the family’s swing set and have some fun over there!
Bear pool party
The baby bears, looking as adorable as teddy bears you might find in a nursery, held their paws over the side of the pool. Curiously, they reached in, testing the temperature on that hot day.
Eventually, one of the brave young cubs mimicked a human child as he crawled over the side of the pool. He got inside the pool and stood around. One of his siblings got hold of a pool floatie!
Getting it on video
The homeowner caught it all on video. She and her two kids watched in surprise as the cubs played in the water like the pool was their own. The homeowner’s young daughter cried out, “My floatie!” as one of the cubs took the floatie away to play! The crystal-clear pool water began to turn dark. The cub was a very dirty guy, and the pool cleaned him up fast!
“That pool is so dirty,” the mother jokingly commented as she filmed. There were now five young cubs on the scene, playing and having fun.
But then another guest arrived.
“Where there are five babies, there’s a mama!” The homeowner happily noted. The mama bear came walking up to see her cubs playing in the cool pool.
“There’s gonna be hair everywhere…” the homeowner’s daughter noted (most likely correctly).
After that, more little ones climbed in to enjoy the cool water. The mama bear even jumped into the pool too.
Eventually, the cubs get out of the pool. The bears begin to play on the playground equipment, just as you’d expect a human child to do! The sight is nothing short of lovable.
Mama stays in and even removes a pool raft to make her experience more enjoyable. The baby of the group tears at the raft playfully.
Party’s over
Eventually, the bears’ playdate comes to an end. Mama probably heard the family talking about how the police were on the way and decided to split! Two of the babies could not get enough of the pool raft, and they tear at it for a few minutes. However, they all leave the area, following Mama Bear out the back and over the fence.
The Basso family definitely has an interesting topic for the “What I Did Over My Summer Break” essay once it’s back to school time!
