Here's Every State’s Favorite Halloween Candy, Did Your State Get It Right?
The product discovery and review company, Influenster, created a survey to see which Halloween candy is loved in each state and we have the results below. Is this accurate for your state?
Influenster collected their top-rated candy products based on product ratings and the word “Halloween” used in their reviews as along with a survey of 42,000+ people around the country for each state to see what everyone's favorite candy is.
The candy that seems to be the top favorite candy in the majority of states is the iconic Halloween staple Candy Corn. However, when the survey was rated by total votes, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups collected the most votes of all the states in total.
Think about it this way: if this was a candy presidential election, we would be congratulating President Candy Corn to office, over runner-up LifeSavers (thanks to California), and the popular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups winds up in third.
Three popular candies that seems to get the most recognition in all 50 states. These candies are: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, Kit Kat, and Butterfinger.
It seems that the great people of West Virginia got lost and didn’t read the directions correctly and voted for Oreo cookies, which of course, are not a candy. It was a surprise win for Swedish Fish in Pennsylvania as it became victorious over the sweet candy, Hershey’s. Also, Arizona has some pretty luxurious tastes and may bankrupt their whole community during Halloween, as they voted for Toblerone chocolates.
