This Will Be One Of The Best Halloween Decorations You'll Ever See. Wait Until The Garage Door Closes
By Mike-Ross

Without a doubt, Halloween is the best time of year for creative people who love to decorate their homes and yards. While Christmas might top the mountain in terms of the number of people who go ‘all-out’ to decorate their place, Halloween is often more creative and scary – like this anti-Clinton supporter who created a decapitated display in his yard.
Many people put creepy tombstones and witch décor out in their yards in order to terrify the trick-or-treaters who unabashedly knock on their door asking for candy.
But one woman, a professional face painter from Ohio, named Amanda Destro Pierson, decided to take things to the next level when she did something cool with her garage door. She used the skills that countless people pay her for to turn her garage door into a scary monster that will make any little kid run away in fear.

But you have to watch it in action because this monster can gobble up cars whole…
The professional face painter started by giving her garage some angry eyes. Those two, terrifying green eyes are scary enough to make any little kid run for his or her life. But this Ohio resident wasn’t done scaring the bejesus out of other locals. That’s when she gave her garage door a creepy, saber-toothed grin that would move as the automatic garage door went up and down.
Although the monster is scary, the coolest part is when Amanda opens and closes her garage door. The monster bites down in a gruesome CHOMP that will make you squeal in delight.
Because she was proud of her work and knew her friends and family would love to see it, Pierson posted the garage door monster on her Facebook page. Little did she know, but her monster was about to go viral!
Before long, thousand shared her video with others and more than 25 million people watched the monster bite down.
Check it out for yourself in the display below, and you’ll quickly see why so many people spread the love for Pierson’s Halloween decoration!
Finding the inspiration on Pinterest, Pierson bought paint and got to work on her family’s home in Parma, Ohio outside Cleveland. After a few hours, she was done painting. Then she went to the craft store to buy the foam she would transform into the teeth and eyes. She had to paint these and that took five hours!
But the hard work paid off. Now her creation has gone viral and is terrifying people all over the internet.
“It’s ridiculous,” Pierson told TODAY about her popular video. “I’ve been laughing a lot about it. I’ve always wanted a house so that I could decorate it for Halloween, which I love doing more than for Christmas.”
Locals and people on the internet alike can’t get enough of the garage monster. When they drive by, they let Pierson and her family know how much her craft skills are appreciated!
“People have been honking their horns and waving when they see it,” Pierson said. “I would say it’s just about all been positive.”
