Woman Gives Birth To Her 4th Child, Doctors Tell Her How Big He Is And She Almost Faints
By Mike-Ross

The excitement around a child's birth is so thrilling, from getting ready for the baby's delivery, to getting things prepared, to even getting the unborn baby's clothing. A baby's birth is a feeling that cannot truly be explained. And picking out a name for such a little angel can be a huge moment as well.
Whitney Hallett, from Seymour, Indiana, she was expecting a baby boy that she and her husband Edmond planned to name Waylon Cole. They expected the baby boy to be big but they didn't anticipate how big their child would be.
Whitney's other babies weighed eight pounds, eight ounces; 11 pounds, 1 ounce; and nine pounds, 14 ounces, respectively. So Whitney's doctors anticipated that Waylon might weigh in a bit heftier than the average blessing.
However, when doctors and nurses present for Whitney's cesarean section first laid eyes on Waylon, they were astounded. So were mom and dad.
Edmond shared:
"We ended up weighing him three times because no one could believe he actually weighed 16 pounds. At first, I thought maybe the scale was broken."
At birth, Waylon ended up weighing what the average six-month-old baby weighs. Once mom and baby were comfortably settled, Edmond had to dash out and purchase new clothing for Waylon that was sized six to nine months, because newborn sizes just weren't about to work out for this chubby baby with numerous rolls that made everyone oooh and ahhhh.

Waylon did end up spending seven weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit to address breathing and feeding issues detected at birth, but was fortunately discharged home to his family at that time. When he was discharged the "little" bundle of joy weighed 17 pounds, seven ounces.
"He sleeps a lot more than our other babies did, but he's healthy. When he's awake, he's alert and smiles. He's a happy boy."

Here's more about this beautiful bouncing baby boy.
Because Whitney, 28, was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during her pregnancy, doctors expected the baby to weigh a bit more. The condition spurs accelerated growth of fetuses in utero.
Could you imagine carrying around a 16-pound baby in your tummy? What an incredible feat! This mom deserves a medal. Blessings upon this baby and his family!
