Minerva Boran, also known as the 'senior teenager,' is a 101-year-old ready to have some fun. Another day in the nursing home had her ready to bust out of the normal routine. When an Elvis classic began playing on the sound system, the perfect opportunity presented itself right before her. Fully loaded with dance moves learned years before, Minerva completely let loose. With her nursing home friends laughing and cheering her on, she takes the performance to a whole other level. This was her moment to shine!
Seeing her incredible moves, it was nearly impossible for her residential care assistant Jean Robinson not to pull out her camera in order to document the rare moment. It's not every day you see someone past the age of 100 breaking out moves like Minerva does. However, it's not just her moves that have people talking. When she dances, she lights up the room with her cheerful spirit!
Here is a 101-year-old woman who could easily sit and relax with a building full of residents, yet she takes it upon herself to bring a smile to everyone's faces and have a little fun of her own. By the way she throws her hands into the air, it's clear that she is having a blast. There are some things in life you never lose - and for this granny, there's no question that she's still "got it."
