BOYFRIEND SENDS HER LOVE NOTES DURING THEIR RELATIONSHIP. YEARS LATER, SHE DISCOVERS A HIDDEN MESSAGE INSIDE THEM
Every couple shows their love in different ways. Some people like to travel with one another, others show their affection through the exchange of gifts, and most just enjoy sharing quality time together. Candice Catherine’s boyfriend’s favorite way to show her how much he cared about her was by writing love notes. Over the course of their relationship, he wrote her 14 love letters, each one as sweet as the next. However, the notes had an even more amazing secret that took Candice years to realize.
Candice and her boyfriend Timothy met in 2009, and were introduced by mutual friends. While they didn’t begin dating right away, the two continued to run into each other following that initial meeting, and eventually started dating in 2013.

The duo began their relationship as friends first, something they agree has helped make their romantic relationship so solid.
'Even though it took a long time for our friendship to blossom into love we are so grateful that we got to become friends first. The fact that we knew each other so well made the relationship feel so secure.” Candice says.
Just a week after they started dating, Timothy sent Candice her very first love note. He continued to send her more sweet notes, each one beginning with a prominent capital letter to start the message off.
“Tim and I didn't live far away from each other but we sent letters because the idea of having our hearts poured out in the form of paper meant we had tangible memories to look back on.” Candice recalled.
Timothy decided to take Candice on a getaway and reveal the final surprise all those love notes had been hiding. The romantic boyfriend took her to Hamilton Island, where they had their very first date, and revealed what the capitalized letters of those 14 love notes spelled out: “will you marry me”. Candice was stunned, and admitted that she’s a very hard person to surprise, so she was blown away by what Timothy was able to pull off.
"I woke up on the morning of December 16, 2015, with a letter next to me instructing me to get dressed and to only come out when I’m fully ready. As soon as I opened the door, I found rose petals and candles everywhere – my heart skipped a beat and I knew it was coming. He sat me down in the living room with all the letters that he had written to me on the table. We read them out one by one reliving the memories of our dating years. After we read all of them he then carefully arranged the letters and asked me to look at them.”
As soon as she realized Timothy’s beautiful surprise, she began to cry tears of joy. And of course, she said yes!
While Candice (and people all over the internet) was understandably stunned by Timothy’s well thought-out expression of love, she says that he is definitely a “romantic, thoughtful, and genuine” person.
