A babysitter in Oregon is facing a whopping 114 criminal charges after it was discovered that she had left children in her care alone repeatedly while she ran errands.
31-year-old January Irene Livsey, who also goes by the name January Neatherlin, was initially arrested last week after she was accused of leaving seven children—ages 6 months to 4 years—home alone while she went to a tanning salon.
According to Oregon Live, police watched Livsey's home last Wednesday after they received an anonymous tip about her actions.
A news release shows that police watched as parents dropped their children off at Livsey’s home. She then left the house by herself about two hours later.

"Detectives contacted January at a local tanning salon and noticed she did not have the children," the news release continued.
When police knocked on the front door of Livsey’s home, nobody answered, according to police.
"Police entered the residence because of the potential risk of harm," and found the seven unattended children, the release continues.
More than a week after investigation was first launched, police now say Livsey often left the children home alone.
“Neatherlin is alleged to have, on numerous occasions, left the two to seven kids in her care, who ranged in ages from 6 months to 4 years old, alone in her house when she went to the gym and tanning salon,” the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.
“Nothing is more precious than the safety and security of our children,” District Attorney John Hummel said. “If the allegations against Ms. Neatherlin are proven in court, I will seek the maximum penalty authorized by law.”
Authorities say Livsey ran Little Giggles Daycare out of her home and never told the children’s parents that she often left their kids unattended.
She has since been charged with 76 counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment and 38 counts of recklessly endangering another person.
KTVZ shared this story on Facebook, where more than 100 commenters slammed Livsey’s careless behavior.
“If she babysat mon thru friday at specific times. Went to the gym and tanning salon between those times, I'm sure if they check it's more times than they have endictments for. I've heard in past times given the kids melatonin to sleep while she's gone tanning and the gym. This was before these allegations. Wow!” one woman commented.
“I hope they make an example out of her. Max sentence please! Maybe it will scare some sense into anyone else considering abandoning children to "pamper" themselves. How horrible for the little victims and their families!” another wrote.
