A pregnant woman in Alabama has been arrested after she listed a 14-year-old boy as her unborn baby’s father while signing up for Medicaid.
According to AL.com, 19-year-old Mekenzie Leigh Guffey, of Hollywood, has admitted to having sex with an underage boy multiple times.
Police Chief Jason Hepler said Guffey confessed to having sex with the boy in her car in a remote area of town.
Guffey reportedly showed absolutely no remorse about having a baby with a 14-year-old boy until she realized she was going to get in trouble for it.
"She was proud of him being the father until she found out we were going to become involved," Hepler said. "She told us she didn't count but it was more than a few times that they were together."
Guffey and the underage boy have reportedly been involved since December, when a mutual friend introduced them at a McDonald’s restaurant in Scottsboro.

This month, Guffey reportedly signed up for Medicaid after discovering she was pregnant and listed the 14-year-old boy as her unborn baby’s father.
That’s when the Department of Human Resources and police reportedly began investigating the case.
According to AL.com, Guffey has been charged with second-degree rape, second-degree sex abuse, enticing a child for immoral purposes, traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, possession of child pornography, and dissemination of child pornography.
Authorities reportedly slapped Guffey with the pornography charges after finding explicit photos and videos of her and the boy on her cell phone.
If convicted of the rape charge alone, Guffey could spend up to 20 years in prison. She would also have to register as a sex offender.

“If the roles were reversed they would be calling for his head on a stick. Glad to see they are charging her,” one woman commented.
“Hmmm. Out of all the MEN out here she chooses to sleep with a BOY. If I was his parent she would be missing and my son would get his ass chewed out and slapped across the head in hopes of waking up some common sense in his small brain!!” another wrote.
“Yea she's In the wrong for it but I'm wondering has anybody said anything to the boy? Yea he's 14 but he was very willing to be with her. It takes 2 to make a baby and he obviously was not worried about condoms. He needs to take responsibility on his end to,” another woman commented.
