[Watch] Best Gift Ever? This Grateful Son’s Christmas Gift Left Parents In Tears

Although Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, spending time with family, and creating memories, perhaps the thing looked forward to the most is the opening of gifts. One son went all out this Christmas season with a gift so great that it left his parents in tears.
Joey Riquelme had a very good year with the success of his iPhone video editing app called Videoshop. According to CBS San Fransisco:
Joe Riquelme graduated from UC Davis in 2006 with a BS in electrical engineering and later built the popular iPhone editing app Videoshop.
Needless to say, the profit from the app developer’s creation allowed for him to do something so amazing that it’s instantaneously gone viral.
The video kicks on with Riquelme sitting in between both of his parents before handing his mother a gift – a simple envelope. Little did she know, its contents simply read, “Your house is paid off. Merry Xmas – Joe.”
As one could imagine, Riquelme’s mother broke down in tears. Unable to convey to her husband what the gift was, she handed the note off to him to read for himself. He too broke down in tears as the thankful parents embraced with their child in the middle.
There is nothing better as a parent than being able to provide your children a better opportunity than the one that was given to you yourself. What’s truly a reflection of that parenting, however, is what your children do with that opportunity.
