Man Pulled Over By Cop FLOORED At What Officer Shoved In His Window
By Dreamer

After being pulled over by a police officer, a Texas man was beyond stressed out, knowing what was about to happen. However, he didn’t exactly get a ticket with a hefty fine when the officer returned – and that’s when he was left floored by what the officer shoved inside his window.
Police in Fort Worth, Texas have been pulling people over at an unprecedented rate recently, but there’s a good reason for it. Making matters even more perplexing, it seems that every single driver has gotten away without a ticket.
Although there are lights and sirens, looks of frustration quickly turn to smiles as officers strengthened community bonds by handing out turkeys for Thanksgiving. Of course, this only applies for smaller violations such as not using a blinker or forgetting to put on a seatbelt, but WFAA reports that “five teams of officers spread out around the city and handed out dozens of birds.”
Among the officers taking part in the spectacular deed, Officer Anthony Colter was one of the men who was behind the wheel recently – and he was more than excited to start ruining people’s day, at least for a little while. “Even though we do enforce traffic law and we do have some unpleasant decisions to make, we still are about the people,” he explained.
In all, he handed out 5 turkeys during lighter traffic stops, but they all seemed to end the same way – with a thank you. “We’re going to overlook that,” he told a driver. “Instead of giving out citations, we’re going to give you a Thanksgiving turkey!”
With each instance starting with the usual jitters from the drivers, it was so much more for the officers as they got the chance to spread happiness and share a positive interaction with those they’ve vowed to serve and protect. Clearly, it was a message not lost on citizens either.

“I’m pleased to see it because there’s so much hate in this country right now,” said Howard Miles, who took home a turkey. “To see brotherly love, it’s very, very inspiring.” At a time when so many people are looking down on police, it’s this kind of thing that has been overlooked for far too long.
Police officers are ordinary people just like you and me. With families waiting for them at home, there’s no doubt that they’ve caught a bad rep these days under the current administration. With race relations and police reputation at an all time low because of the rhetoric promoted by our current “leadership,” it’ll be interesting to watch things, hopefully, turn around over the next few years with someone else in charge. Until then, police officers nationwide will continue to do a tough job without receiving the credit they deserve.
