Rock Legends KISS Take the Stage, Teach Anthem-Haters Epic Public Lesson (Video)

Rock legends KISS have always been known to be one of the most patriotic bands in America. The band recently kicked off its “Freedom to Rock” tour, and last night at a show in Worcester, Massachusetts, its members let it be known exactly where they stood on the matter of respecting our nation, the military and the national anthem.
The band typically takes a few moments to perform the “Pledge of Allegiance” during most of its shows, but last night Paul Stanley took an apparently jab at San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and others who choose to disrespect the national anthem.
“You should remember, patriotism is always cool,” he said. “Loving your country is always cool. Standing up, respecting and honoring our military is always cool.
So, to show some respect between pick-throwing, we’re going to put our right hands over our hearts and why don’t we say the Pledge of Allegiance,” Stanley said before the band launched into its rendition of the “Pledge of Allegiance.”
