We all can still remember where we were and what was going on during that tragic day in September. Monique Ferrer came to StoryCorps to share her story about the events of September 11th. She was divorced from her husband, Michael Trinidad, and they had two kids together. Although they had been separated for a while, on 9/11, Trinidad called his ex-wife from the World Trade Center, where he worked. Her interview was animated, adding image to her vividly told story.
The resulting video is heartbreaking.
