Footage of 3-year-old refusing to give up this baby is blowing up on the Web

One of parents' biggest fears when bringing home a second baby is the inherent jealousy that can surface in the first child. Since most kids become older brothers or sisters at a young age, questions about why Mommy and Daddy feel the need for another child, and how that child's needs will impact their own, can be big obstacles to overcome.
 
But that's not the case for Waylon Matthews, whose mother Emily Ann has shared a remarkable video of her son's instant feelings of love and protection for baby brother Lawless, as reported by Tennessee's The Jackson Sun.

The video shows 3-year-old Waylon snuggling with his brother and refusing to give him up, holding baby "Wallace" as he calls the infant, close to him. Emily Ann put the video on Facebook and comments and likes have come in from all over the globe in response.

"It's amazing," Emily Ann told The Jackson Sun in December 2015. "It's sharing the love. It is. I think that's what got to everybody, just it's so real."

The image on Facebook was particularly heartfelt around the holidays, allowing many to reflect on their own special relationships with older or younger siblings growing up.
