Shannon’s dad was diagnosed with cancer. Only a month after the shocking news, Shannon’s dad passed away and she was heartbroken. Right before her wedding, Shannon was torn apart by the passing of her father. Her husband Don had a great idea to surprise Shannon for the father-daughter dance.

Watch as Don joins his sons, Tommy and Joey, for a choreographed dance routine. The audience loved his routine, even before he changed the pace. As “Over The Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole played in the background, he put on a white tee shirt. The back of it read, “May I Have this Dance?” When Don turned around, Shannon saw a picture of her dad on the front of his shirt.

The bride couldn’t help but cry during such an emotional moment.
