If Your Home Suffers From Mold You Need To Know THIS... Here Is How To Get Rid Of It Permanately & Safely
By Dreamer
Here are five natural solutions for removing mold that you can try:
1. Hydrogen Peroxide
A simple and inexpensive solution to your mold problem is using 3% hydrogen peroxide.
Mix equal parts hydrogen peroxide with baking soda and vinegar.
Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and use over the affected area. Let sit for 10-15 minutes. Then scrub and wipe using a clean cloth.
2. Vinegar
Vinegar is a mild acid which can kill 99 percent of bacteria, 82 percent of mold, and 80 percent of germs (viruses). (1)
Use white distilled vinegar and pour it into a spray bottle without watering it down. Spray the vinegar onto the moldy surface and leave it to sit for an hour.
Finally, wipe the area clean with water and allow the surface to dry. Any smell from the vinegar should clear within a few hours, but if it lingers, you can freshen up the space with bowls of lemon water around the area.
3. Tea Tree Oil
It’s expensive but works well on small areas. Mix 2 teaspoons of tea tree oil with 1 cup. Spray the solution onto the mold spores and let it dry.
4. Citrus Seed Extract
Unlike the other solutions, citrus seed extract does not leave any odor when used. Dilute about 20 drops of extract with 2 cups of water, mix in a spray bottle and spray onto the mold. Similiar to the previous solution, do not rinse. (2)
5. Baking Soda
Used with vinegar and water or alone with water, baking soda is the most effective one on this list. Mix baking soda with water or a water-and-vinegar solution, and spray onto surface. Let it sit, then scrub and wipe with a damp cloth.
Note: You don not have to wait until mold starts to surface and show to remove it. Make use of any of these natural solutions to prevent mold from taking hold in the first place.
