100 Horses Were Awaiting Death On An Island. Now Watch What These 7 Woman Do The Unthinkable

In a village in Netherlands, 100 horses were stranded on a small piece of land that was flooded after a terrible storm. 19 horses lost their lives, but the remaining horses were stranded on a low-land knoll for three days. The horses were brought food by Firemen and animal welfare officers in an attempt of keeping the horse’s strength up. Attempts to rescue the animals were made without success.

On the third day, however, a remarkable rescue of these beautiful creatures was made. This video captures their heroism on film.
