She Took An Empty Wine Bottle, Wrapped It In THIS, And Dumped It In Water. When She's Finished... AMAZING!

Bianca Barreto from the blog madamecriativa.com.br, shows us how to CUT the bottoms of a wine bottle to make some really nice home decor.
To get started, you’ll need an
empty wine bottle
nail polish remover
cotton string
a lighter
sandpaper
spray paint
stickers
Start by soaking about two feet of cotton string in nail polish remover until it was completely saturated.
Next, wrap the soaked cotton string around the base of the bottle, about one inch from the bottom, tie it off, and cut off the extra end.
Then, take a lighter and use it to light up the string. The nail polish remover will spread the flame around the entire loop of string.

As the string starts to turn black, dump the end of the bottle into a bowl of ice water.

The quick change in temperature from hot to cold breaks the bottom of the bottle off in a clean line!

Next take sandpaper and use it to smooth the rough surface where the cut was made.

Now you can decorate.
Bianca put circular stickers of different sizes all over the bottle.

Then, she coated the whole bottle using a few layers of gold spray paint, allowing for dry time in between layers.

When it was dry, she removed the stickers, exposing adorable polka dots!

The last step was to place the bottle over a lit tea light, creating the perfect candle holder centerpiece!
