She Paints Her Window With CORNSTARCH, Then Grabs THIS! Now It’s Private AND Sunny!
By Michele

This brilliant blogger Anna Belvita wanted to find a way to giver herself some privcy through her windows without blocking out the sublight, so she came up with this brilliant idea.
She discovered she could use a cornstarch paste to stick fabric to the window! and the way it turns out using white lace is absolutely gorgeous.
First she got two tablespoons of cornstarch and to tablespoons of water and mixxed them together. Then, she mixed the two ingredients into a paste and poured the whole thing into 1½ cups of boiling water.
Finally, she gave the whole thing a stir and painted her first coat of the mixture directly onto the window

Then, she took a pre-cut square of white lace fabric and pressed it onto the window covered with the mixture and took the brush again and applied a second, thick layer over the lace.

The white lace is a great choice in fabric because the little holes in the material meant that there were no annoying air bubbles to smooth out.
After the second coat, all there was left to do was let the paste dry and enjoy the new privacy windows.

The fabric is so great because it keeps people from seeing up, but the sunlight still shines through into the bedroom.

This also works well renters who don’t want to install a more permanent privacy screen.
Anna added that the other wonderful thing about this project is that it does not damage the windows and is easy to remove.
Six months after doing the project, Anna added an update that before moving out of this place, she was able to easily remove the lace with really hot water and a sponge.
