Your Old Copy Of Harry Potter Could Be Worth $50,000

According to AbeBooks, an early 1996 edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone recently sold for £26,700 or $37,151.98 

There were only 500 printed for sale and 300 printed for libraries of this certain copy. AbeBooks says you'll be able to tell if you've got an early hardback edition based on two things:

A print line that reads "10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1"
An author credit to Joanne Rowling, not J.K. Rowling.

Other early editions might be worth some money also.
