So, in Dallas, Texas, there's this 9-year-old pooch named Gaia, living with her elderly owner, Sandra. But when Sandra got sick and had to go to the hospital, Gaia got stuck in the backyard, feeling pretty lonely. That's when Lisa Kanarek, a kind neighbor, stepped in.
Even though Lisa barely knew Sandra and Gaia, she offered to take Gaia for walks. What started as a small gesture turned into a daily routine for three whole weeks.
