1. Start With The Right Succulents
Some succulents that do really well indoors are zebra plant, snake plant, and gasteria ‘little warty’. You can also grow jade plants. They like a lot of sunlight but they can tolerate lower lighting indoors.
2. Give Them As Much Light As Possible
When you are growing succulents outdoors, most of them prefer shade in the afternoon. Growing them indoors means the light is so limited that they need as much light as they can get throughout the entire day. Place them near the brightest window of your home. Generally, it will be a south-facing window in the northern hemisphere.

3. Use A Well Draining Soil
The best soil for succulents is equal parts of pine bark fines and crushed granite. You can find them in most garden supply stores.

4. Water Deeply, But Less Frequently
Succulents need water to grow and thrive. If you limit their water intake, you will also limit their growth. In order to promote healthy root growth you need to soak the soil and let it dry completely before you water it again.
5. Use A Pot With A Drainage Hole
Avoid glass or anything that doesn’t have a drainage hole for your succulent container.
