I stumbled upon this rad video tutorial by gregvancom on YouTube that saved my bathtub drain from its hairy fate. Seriously, it's a lifesaver.
All you need is a screwdriver or something similar, plus a washcloth. Follow the simple steps in the instructions below, and while you're at it, watch the video for a visual guide. Your clogged drain will be good as new in minutes. Trust me, it's a game-changer. Here's how to do it:

First, remove any type of plug cover, then simply pull the hair wrapped around the inside using a small screwdriver or steak knife, any similar tool would do. It would be best to use a tool that is long enough that even if it slips and falls inside you can still get a hold of it. Grab a washcloth, then wipe the inside and scrape it up as much as you can, then once there are no more hairs clogged inside, give it a good rinse, and you’re done!
