Growing up, many of us have witnessed a bully in action. It can be scary to confront people that would take advantage of others, but we have the responsibility to stand up for those who can’t defend themselves.
James is a special needs student and has been bullied his entire life… until this group of fifth-graders got a strong whiff of justice from a school anti-bullying program. They had seen enough. Gus, Tyler, Landon, Jake and Jack decided to do something. But how far they’ve taken it has stunned everyone.
Not only do the boys protect James – they cherish him! The group spends every day with James from homeroom to recess. They talk about sports and action heroes and even hang out at his house.
It’s incredible to see such kindness in the hearts of these boys. Bullies rarely change, but you can do your part to stand up to injustice too!
