Dance Team Has The “Perfect ‘AGT’ Audition,” Leaving The Judges With Only 1 Choice In Mind...
By Mike-Ross

Over the years, we've seen a ton of amazing dancers light up the stage on "America's Got Talent." But let me tell you, this season is taking things up a notch with some seriously fierce competition. The judges didn't hold back mentioning this when a dude from Chibi Unity came forward for a little pre-performance chat. But you know what? His vibe was still sky-high as he rambled about the journey he and his crew have been on.
And speaking of journey, they weren't just talking metaphorically. These Chibi Unity folks hopped on a flight all the way from Japan, covering some serious miles to get here. They're gunning for the top spot, and you could totally feel that determination when they kicked off their audition. It all started pretty chill, just some moody darkness enveloping the stage. But then, ta-da, a lone spotlight beamed down on one of their crew members, and the magic began.
Just as that person began to dance, more light revealed shadowy figures dancing behind them. As their dance evolved over the course of the song, the large sheet they used to form the shadows was used in other visually interesting ways. By the end, it seemed as though there wasn’t a single person in the audience who wasn’t cheering or on their feet.
“I would say it was the perfect ‘AGT’ audition,” Sofía Vergara said.
With praise like that, it’s no wonder the judges were all in agreement on what to do next with this group. Sure, they could have all voted “yes” to moving them forward, but why do that when an even better option was available?
Watch Chibi Unity blow everyone away with their one-of-a-kind performance in the video below.
